■ Honda Accord Sedan

The Accord has been styled to attract more than just a passing glance. Its sharp lines and powerful stance excite the senses from any angle.

Artful
Look closely. The Accord's form is a study in modern design. The 2011 Accord sports a new grille, front bumper and trunk-lid design. And restyled 17-inch alloy wheels (EX and above) will surely impress.

Outside In
Wide-opening doors invite you to step inside. And the one-touch power moonroof (EX and above) couldn't be any easier.
Anything but Ordinary
No stone has been left unturned. That's because the details make all the difference. Take a look at the Accord's brilliantly finished exhaust and chrome door handles (V-6). Exquisite attention to fit and finish set the Accord apart from the average sedan.

With a large and luxurious interior, the Accord Sedan provides the comfort you deserve

Comfortable
In the Accord's case, bigger is better. It means more comfort and more room for those Honda details, like available leather-trimmed seats. The driver's seat has 10-way power adjustment including power lumbar support (SE and above) to fine-tune a perfect fit. Rear passengers enjoy ample conveniences like a fold-down center armrest And EX and above models feature a rear HVAC vent to keep rear passengers cool.

Effortless
New for 2011, every Accord Sedan with a Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™[1] comes equipped with a rearview camera, which makes backing up and parking easier.

Convenient
Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink®[2] enables you to make hands-free calls with many compatible phones, and comes included with the available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™[1] (and in EX-L models without the Navigation System). And steering wheel-mounted controls for audio and cruise control allow you to change speeds or music at will.

Melodic
Accord LX Sedan features a 160-watt AM/FM/CD audio system with 6 speakers. EX adds a 6-disc in-dash CD player and an ingenious USB Audio Interface[3] that lets you listen to your favorite playlists. Step up to the EX-L, and enjoy a 270-watt AM/FM/6-disc in-dash premium audio system and XM® Radio[4]. And all

Accord audio systems feature an MP3/auxiliary input jack.

Powerful, yes, but every bit as environmentally responsible and fuel-efficient[1]. And did we mention fun?

Decisions
The LX 4-door features a 2.4-liter i-VTEC® 4-cylinder with 177 hp. Plus, there's a 190-hp EX version. And a 271-hp 3.5-liter V-6.

Legendary Performance
Accord models have always roared ahead of the curve. That's because they utilize i-VTEC® for abundant power and efficiency at all engine speeds. The V-6 features the latest generation of Honda's Variable Cylinder Management™ (VCM®) technology, which activates the engine's cylinders as needed, providing both brisk acceleration and fuel efficiency[1].

Transmissions
Choose a quick-shifting 5-speed manual transmission. Or opt for the available 5-speed automatic that features our Grade Logic Control system, which helps put an end to gear-hunting when climbing uphill or driving back down.

[1] 23 city/33 hwy/27 combined mpg for 4-cylinder models with manual transmission. 23 city/34 hwy/27 combined mpg for 4-cylinder models with automatic transmission. 20 city/30 hwy/24 combined mpg for V-6 models. Based on 2011 EPA mileage estimates. Use for comparison purposes only. Do not compare to models before 2008. Your actual mileage will vary depending on how you drive and maintain your vehicle.
The Accord Sedan earned a 5-star safety rating in each combined category[1] based on the latest government standards.

5-Star Safety
The Accord Sedan earned a 5-star safety rating in each of NHTSA's combined safety rating categories[1]. And that is quite an achievement, especially since the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has established new, more stringent NCAP standards.
Control
Every Accord is designed to keep you on course and away from danger. Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®)[2] helps sense oversteer or understeer in an emergency situation, and then adjusts brake pressure at each wheel and/or reduces engine power to help restore driver control and keep you on course. Standard 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes (ABS), with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), help you maintain control during hard braking. Properly inflated tires are crucial for safe operation, so the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)[3] alerts the driver when a tire's pressure reaches a significantly low level.

Protection
The Accord has been engineered to help protect you and your passengers when collisions just cannot be avoided. In-floor frame rails improve crashworthiness. And our Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure disperses frontal crash energy over a wide area, helping reduce the forces transferred to the passenger compartment.
Airbags and More
Every Accord also features standard front, front side and side curtain airbags to help reduce the likelihood of injuries in a collision. The front side airbags employ a large two-chamber design, and the front passenger's side airbag uses the Occupant Position Detection System to prevent deployment if a child or small-statured passenger is out of position and in the airbag's path of deployment. And active front head restraints help reduce the likelihood of whiplash injuries in a sufficient rear impact.

Honda's Safety Philosophy
Honda is committed to providing safety for everyone—that means crash protection not only for our own drivers and passengers, but also for the occupants of other vehicles, and injury mitigation for pedestrians. We are dedicated to identifying and implementing advanced designs and features that help enhance the safety of vehicles on the road. Learn more.
[1] Based on frontal crash, side crash and rollover categories. Government 5-Star Safety Ratings are part of NHTSA's New Car Assessment Program (www.SaferCar.gov). Model tested with standard side airbags (SABs). Vehicles tested under the new program cannot be compared to MY10 and earlier vehicles.

[2] VSA is not a substitute for safe driving. It cannot correct the vehicle's course in every situation or compensate for reckless driving. Control of the vehicle always remains with the driver.

[3] For optimal tire wear and performance, tire pressure should be checked regularly with a gauge. Do not rely solely on the monitor system. Please see your Honda dealer for detail
An Exceptional Price for an Exceptional Car

SE Sedan
The Accord has always been an exceptional value. And now, with the 2011 Accord SE Sedan, you get even more Honda for your money. Priced at $23,730, the luxurious Accord SE comes equipped with leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
"Best Residual Value"
Ever since the very first Accord was introduced in 1976, quality Honda engineering has made it one of the most reliable vehicles on the road. This high level of craftsmanship results in a high residual value, as well. In fact, the 2010 Accord was honored with the "Best Residual Value Award for the Midsize Segment" from ALG and the "Best Resale Value Award" for the Midsize Segment from Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com. We take great pride knowing that the Accord is such an excellent value today, and will be for years to come.
For three decades, Honda has played a leading role in meeting environmental challenges.

Environmentally Conscious
The 2011 Accord Sedan is a fuel-efficient[1] automotive wonder. 4-cylinder models with automatic transmission get an estimated 34 highway mpg[1]. V-6 models get an estimated 30 highway mpg - all of which means the new Accord is even more fuel efficient than last year[1]. And as an added bonus, all Accord models run on regular unleaded gasoline.

ULEV[2] and PZEV[3]-Rated
Honda was the first manufacturer to offer Ultra-Low-Emission Vehicle (ULEV)-rated emission technology[2] on a production vehicle. Today, the 2011 Accord offers the even stricter Partial-Zero-Emission Vehicle (PZEV) technology[3].

[1] 23 city/34 hwy/27 combined mpg for 4-cylinder models with automatic transmission. 20 city/30 hwy/24 combined mpg for V-6 models. Based on 2011 EPA mileage estimates. Use for comparison purposes only. Do not compare to models before 2008. Your actual mileage will vary depending on how you drive and maintain your vehicle.

[2] ULEV-2 rated by the California Air Resources Board (CARB).

[3] PZEV (Partial Zero-Emission Vehicle) models as certified by California Air Resources Board (CARB) are available in California and states that have adopted California Zero-Emission Vehicle regulations.
